When my wife was pregnant with our oldest son, her doctor told me that he would deliver our first child but, barring any difficulties, I could deliver any children that came along later. As our son got older, however, we began to worry that we would not be able to have any more children. We did some research about various options available and prayed to know what we should do. We decided to keep trying and if we were still unable to have a second child, we would try to adopt a child with special needs.
